Judith Ruiz
A painter and a sculptor, through a variety of mediums, Judith is guided by her love of experimentation and by the desires of her inner world. A viewer, through her imagination and detachment from familiar objects and structures, can trace an artist's longing for human connection that is so rapidly disappearing from our everyday reality, her femininity, her own journey and her challenging the societal concepts that often go unquestioned.
Currently Judith is working with stone, metal and bronze as well as high and low temperature ceramics.
Judith’s work has been exhibited both in Mexico and the United States.
Pintora y escultura que se expresa a través de diversos materiales, Judith crea su arte bajo la guía de su amor por experimentar y la posibilidad de desenvolver sus deseos más profundos. Su imaginación y desapego a la materialidad estructural de los objetos permiten que el espectador conecte con los temas esenciales de su sensibilidad: Anhelo por el vínculo humano que rápidamente desaparece de nuestra cotidianeidad, su feminidad, el andar de sus viajes y sus desafiantes conceptos sociales que en pocas ocasiones son cuestionados.
Actualmente Judith construye sus piezas con materiales como la piedra, el bronce y la cerámica de alta temperatura.
Su obra se ha presentado en exhibiciones en México y Estados Unidos.
